Today I finished the coffee I was given by the FastAPI Cloud team at PyCon Italia!
When looking at the bag, I noticed the Axolotl draw you can see in the background, and I took the bag happily! but now when finishing the last beans and brewing it, I started to read all the text and noticed something.
This is Colombian coffee. You might think, "OK, they made good coffee" but then I got it, it's highly probable that @tiangolo (and his team) decided to bring "a piece of Colombia" into the new business they are creating, by sharing this as merchandising on their booths.
It hits me.
Sharing a piece of your identity, a piece of where you are coming from, and maybe even the place when the idea or the first lines of code were born. I find this very nice gesture, which in the middle of the "usual merch" certainly makes a difference.
They didn't pay me for this post, I'm not a FastAPI Cloud investor or anything, but certainly this gesture made me want to share with you my perception, so you could feel motivated of tasting a bit on "Colombia" in your next project , or at least on your next cup of Coffee.
