@AlSweigart @simon @jacob I don’t need to download anything, it’s MY video. 😅 I just need concrete instructions how to get a file that I can upload to YouTube to replace the auto-generated ones. Everything I found was free-form prose.
@hynek No problem. Either way, openai-whisper can generate the .srt or .vtt subtitle file to upload for your video. I'm on my phone, let me see if I can dig up concrete instructions in a while when I'm on my laptop.

@hynek oh, ha, it has a command-line command. So run pip install openai-whisper and then `whisper --model medium input.mp4`
